Lloyd's insurance broker Manning Williams has gone into liquidation after running out of cash and its clients are currently being transferred to other Lloyd's brokers. The broker, which employs around 70 people, is now being investigated. Christopher Morris and Nick Hood, of insolvency specialists Begbies Traynor, have been appointed as joint liquidators.
