Capita has announced the acquisition of claims management specialist Brownsword. As part of the deal, Capita will gain an exclusive 10-year licence to Digilog's Advanced Validation Solutions, incorporating voice risk analysis software. Digilog has intellectual property rights for VRA software in UK and Ireland as licensed by Nemesysco.
VRA software is used to assess risk in claims handling, and to identify potentially fraudulent claims.
