The Insurance Ombudsman Bureau has made five appointments to support principal ombudsman Tony Boorman.

Peter Hart is an associate ombudsman, with Reidy Flynn, Steve Lilley, Michael Lovegrove and Dorothy Rickman all being ombudsmen. They have all been appointed with immediate effect.

Maurice Healy, chairman of the IOB Council, said: "I am delighted that we have been able to strengthen the Ombudsman team by the appointment of these highly experienced and capable members of staff."
