The Financial Services Authority has sent out around 9,000 scope-of-permission notices to general insurance firms in November.

It has received almost 14,000 general insurance registrations and more than 9,500 GI applications for authorisation, with 5151 applications from the primary insurance market and 4408 from the secondary insurance market, as of 11 November.
