Up to 130 Royal London jobs are likely to be affected by the proposed transfer of the company's general business to Norwich Union.A spokeswoman for Royal London said the insurer is already in talks with the MSF union regarding the transfer of affected staff to other positions within the company or at NU.
Under the proposed deal, NU will pay Royal London commission on its general business and will take responsibility for sales, underwriting, pricing, customer services and claims.
