Ace launches D&O cover for not-for-profit organisations in the UK and Ireland
Cover includes insured person liability up to a maximum of £10m.
Ace Group has launched Ace Elite Not For Profit, a directors and officers (D&O) insurance cover for charities and not-for-profit organisations based in the UK and Ireland.
The insurer claimed that charity trustees and directors are becoming increasingly vulnerable to claims.
It cited reasons such as the proposed amendments to the Charities Bill aimed at tackling serious abuse of charities and increased scrutiny over charities' fundraising and management.
The provider stated that its new offering
