Academy buys Glynwood Insurance Services
The purchase is expected to give the broker greater "scale and resource" in the Midlands region.
Academy Insurance has expanded its branch network with the purchase of Midland-based Glynwood Insurance Services for an undisclosed amount.
This will see Academy add three new offices to its existing network across the UK bringing the number to 17, Academy said.
The broker also said that this buy would add 7,000 policies to its book of business.

The acquisition of Glynwood on 1 March comes after Academy's purchase of P M Hart in October 2013 and Dunelm Insurance in April 2015.
