Three arrested in ghost broker raids

City of London Police arrested two men and a woman suspected of acting as unregistered insurance brokers.

Two men and a woman were arrested on 21 February 2017 as part of a joint investigation between the City of London Police Major Crime Team and the Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB).

City of London Police announced that detectives from the force executed warrants in Tottenham, East Ham and Barking.

Two men were arrested in Tottenham on suspicion of acting as unregistered insurance brokers, conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation, conspiracy to supply drugs and money laundering.
