Henderson unveils flood insurance scheme

Henderson Insurance Brokers has launched a flood excess buy-back scheme that gives brokers the opportunity to provide a "holistic flood insurance solution", it said.

Insurance Age can reveal that the scheme, known as Flood XS, will be made available through the broker's Connect to the Hub wholesale facility. The Hub is a specialist facility located in Leeds.

It stated that excesses of up to £100,000 could be insured and that claims below the primary flood excess would be covered in full.
