Ageas confirms 521 jobs to go at Kwik Fit Insurance
Insurer to close Uddingston site on 31 March.
Ageas has confirmed that 521 people will be made redundant at its Kwik Fit Insurance Services broker office, in Uddingston, Scotland from March.
Last November the firm proposed the closure of its Uddingston office due to pressure and changes in the way people buy insurance.
The 500 plus staff are expected to leave from 31 March, Ageas said, following a 45-day consultation.
