Court orders ex-Ropner Insurance employee to pay £21,000 in client poaching case
GRP spokesperson says firm is "pleased" with injunction decision and award of costs.
Former Ropner Insurance Services employee Philip Wood has been ordered to pay £21,000 and not to conduct business with clients from his time at the broker.
Sister title Post, which attended the hearing on 6 December at the Royal Court of Justice, reported that the GRP-backed broker Ropner Insurance took legal action against former employee Wood over poaching claims.
According to the article, Wood resigned as divisional director in March and began trading with clients at his new firm, Clearwood
