Powell and Rogers settle with Bluefin

Deal follows agreement between Mike Bruce, Global Risk Partners and Neil Thornton with the broker.

Mark Rogers and Suzanne Powell have settled with Bluefin over staff poaching claims.

The deal follows an undisclosed settlement yesterday between Mike Bruce, Global Risk Partners, Neil Thornton and Bluefin.

GRP confirmed that the broker had reached a settlement with Ludlow branch managers Mark Rogers and Suzanne Powell. The settlement was for an undisclosed amount.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
