Insurer stresses UK property and casualty not affected by disposal plans.

Axa UK has agreed to sell its wrap platform business - Elevate - to Standard Life.

The move follows the 28 April announcement of the disposal of its UK offshore investment bonds business - Axa Isle of Man.

The insurer also confirmed that it is engaged in discussions for the sale of its remaining UK life and savings assets.

However it noted there was no guarantee of a transaction being achieved.

Brokers upbeat on 2024 growth – Aviva

Brokers are more optimistic about growth in the coming year than they have been since before 2020, according to Aviva, with 83% expecting their business to grow compared to 76% last year.
