MPs anger over FSCS fee collection reform failure
MPs demand answers on how the Financial Services Compensation Scheme can change how it collects fees.
MPs have called for answers from regulatory panels after they failed to develop an answer to how the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) should reform how it collects its fees.
Sister title, Professional Adviser, revealed that the chairman of the Treasury Select Committee, Andrew Tyrie, told the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) practitioner and consumer panels the committee wants to hear ideas for making FSCS fees more predictable for the industry.
