Peter Horton, chief operating officer at LV, has become first member of executive team to leave the insurer.

Chief operating officer at LV, Peter Horton, has left the insurer.

A spokesperson for the insurer commented: "Peter Horton has decided to leave LV and look at other projects in the marketplace."

Horton was a founding member of the ABC group, along with John O'Roarke, Phil Bunker, Steve Castle and Paul Cassidy, which was acquired by LV in 2006.
