Gallagher versus Skriptchenkov and Portsoken set for November trial

Judge orders expedited trial in case between Gallagher and its former employee.

A trial in the civil court case between Arthur J Gallagher and former employee Alex Skriptchenkov and Portsoken Limited has been scheduled for November this year.

At a hearing in the High Court on 24 July an expedited trial was ordered by Her Honour Judge Walden-Smith.

Gallagher's lawyers initially asked for a speedy trial to commence on or around 19 October, stating that the "correct route" was a speedy trial.

Meanwhile the defendants' lawyers wanted the trial to commence in April 2016, stating
