Home premiums fell in Q1 2015
Average cost of home insurance premiums down by 3.6% as a result of benign weather.
The average premium for a new home insurance policy dropped in the first three months of 2015, according to the latest AA British Insurance Premium Index.
The index shows that the average quote for a combined home buildings and contents insurance policy fell by 3.6% or £6 to £158.66.
In addition, the cost of a buildings policy fell by 3% to £112.74 and the cost of a contents policy dropped 2.3% to £60.28.
