PPI complaints fell in the second half of 2014
Overall number of complaints to financial services firms fell 7% compared to the first six months of the year.
Financial services firms received 2,183,540 new complaints between July and December 2014, according to data from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Overall complaints fell by 7% compared to the first half of 2014 and by 12% compared to the same period last year.
For the first time in three years, payment protection insurance (PPI) accounted for less than half of complaints (48%).
PPI was still the most complained about product with 1,058,918 opened complaints in the second half of 2014, but
