Optimism up among brokers and insurers

Thumbs up

Financial services survey shows increases in business volumes and profitability.

Brokers are more optimistic about their overall business situation now than they were three months ago, according to the latest financial services survey from CBI and PwC.

The survey for the first quarter of 2015 found that 14% more brokers were more optimistic than they were in the fourth quarter of 2014.

Business volumes increased by 6%, which is a somewhat modest rise compared to the 19% rise in the final quarter of 2014, but growth is expected to pick up strongly over the next three months.
