FCA to raise fees as funding requirement grows 8.4%
Regulator's annual funding requirement has risen to £481.6m and fees will rise accordingly.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is proposing to increase the minimum fee for regulated firms from £1,000 to £1,084 for the 2015/16 financial year as its annual funding requirement has risen by 8.4% to £481.6m.
The regulator said 38% of firms will continue to pay the minimum fee and is the first increase since 2010. It is carrying out a consultation on the measures.
