Willis deal “biggest” acquisition for Clark Thomson

Broker insists independence remains following the deal which also saw it join Willis Commercial Network.

Clark Thomson insisted that it will maintain its independence following the announcement it has joined Willis Commercial Network (WCN) and bought Willis's commercial business unit in Scotland.

Clark Thomson CEO, Ben Bailey, told Insurance Age that the acquisition was the biggest deal in the history of the Scottish-based broker so far and explained that the deal was in the pipeline prior to joining the network.
