Ex-Gallagher team launch Modus MGA
Former e-Underwriting staff launch business specialising in household, landlord and commercial products.
Modus, a start-up managing general agent (MGA) created by Simon Read, Scott Banks, Natasha Pettet - formerly of Arthur J Gallagher-owned e-Underwriting, a division of OIM - has opened for business.
The firm detailed that it will specialise in underwriting and distributing auto-rating household, landlords' and commercial products through software houses and direct to brokers in the UK. Capacity will be provided by several Lloyd's syndicates.
