Ombudsman freezes levy
Regulator reveals plans for 2015 and fees for FCA-regulated businesses.
The Financial Ombudsman Service has revealed that it has proposed to freeze its levy on FCA-regulated firms for the second year in a row.
It revealed the plans in its Plans and Budget for 2015/16 report: "We intend to ask the FCA to raise an overall levy for the compulsory jurisdiction of £23.3m in 2015/2016. This is the same as the amount of levy the FCA collected this year - so the overall amount of the levy would be frozen."
