Hodges quits Towergate
Lyons to take up executive chairman role while replacement is sought.
Mark Hodges has resigned as group chief executive at Towergate Insurance.
Hodges was appointed in September 2011 moving across from Aviva.
Towergate confirmed that until a replacement is appointed, Alastair Lyons, currently non-executive chairman, has taken the role of executive chairman.
Lyons said: "I would like to thank Mark for all that he has contributed to Towergate over the past three years.
"The group has changed significantly under his leadership and is now ready to move to the next
