UK General partners with 2gether Insurance

First joint scheme targets non-standard motor with excess protection product.

UK General has signed up with 2gether Insurance, for its first scheme together - an excess protection ancillary product.

The Leeds-based insurer explained that the deal had been struck to support the broker's non-standard motor business and projected that it would generate £250,000 in premium income.

UK General added that it was also in talks with the Cambridge-based broker on launching further schemes.
