Andrew McMellin to lead Catlin in London

Current US chief to take the reins of London hub in 2015.

Catlin has announced that Andrew McMellin is to become chief executive officer of its London hub in the first half of 2015.

McMellin, CEO of the group's US underwriting hub, replaces current boss Nick Sinfield who is leaving the insurer.

Until his arrival chief operating officer, Paul Jardine, will serve as interim CEO.

McMellin, who will remain a member of the Catlin Group executive committee, has served as the New York-based CEO of Catlin's US hub since September 2012 having joined the
