A-Plan set for £300m sale, reports Sky

Broker close to hiring advisory firm to run auction of company.

A-Plan Holdings is set to hire advisory firm Evercore Partners to oversee a £300m sale, Sky News has reported.

According to the article, the move by the controlling shareholder, private equity group Equistone, would net senior management a £100m windfall if the price was achieved.

The broker deals in high street, personal lines and commercial business. It has 70 offices across the country employing 800 staff.

In the year to February 2013 it reported turnover of £55.7m and Ebitda of £20.3m.
