FCA investigating Towergate over sales processes

Regulator looking into whether deficiencies caused customer detriment.

Towergate is in discussions with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regarding issues surrounding the sale of two of its products.

The consolidator is conducting a review into Enhanced Transfer Values (ETV) and Unregulated Collective Investment Scheme (UCIS), which were sold and advised on by Towergate Financial.

The group is investigating whether any deficiency in the sales process has caused customer detriment.
