British public unwilling to pay for flood protection, survey says
PwC finds that more than 25% of Brits are not sure whether they have flood cover.
More than one third of British adults (37%) would not be willing to spend anything on protecting their home from potential flood damage at any point in the future, according to figures from PwC.
In a survey commissioned by the financial services firm, and conducted by YouGov, 27% of Britons questioned said they were unsure whether or not they had any insurance protecting or covering their homes if it were to flood.
This is despite just 11% claiming to believe that climate change is not happening
