JLT's 2013 profit creeps up to £112.8m
Broker giant sees 2013 revenue jump to £979.2m from £880.1m.
JLT saw its 2013 profit edge up to £112.8m from £111.8m posted for the previous year.
The broker giant's 2013 revenue rose to £979.2m, compared to £880.1m for 2012, which the broker stated consisted of 8.5% organic growth and 4% from acquisitions.
Its UK managing general agent Thistle UK recorded a 2% revenue rise to £34.9m while trading profit slipped down to £2.4m [2012: £4m].
Furthermore, JLT Specialty posted a 4% revenue rise to £244.8m while trading profit increased to £51.2m from £46.8m.
