GS Group leaves Willis Commercial Network for Brokerbility

Scottish broker departs after 10 years with network.

GS Group will leave Willis Commercial Network at the end of March, Insurance Age can reveal.

The Perth-based broker, which had been with Willis for 10 years, will join Brokerbility effective from 1 April.

George Stubbs, GS Group managing director, said: “We decided that the best thing for our business going forward is the Brokerbility model, which is one with a very strong independent ethos.”

Another reason for the move, according to Stubbs, was that Brokerbility possesses “bigger buying power”
