Flood Re is in danger of missing its planned summer 2015 launch date, it has been reported.
The Financial Times reported that the replacement to the Statement of Principles may slip past the proposed deadline by several months.
One source said that the Flood Re negotiations had been "painfully slow", while another stated: "It would be inconceivable that it [Flood Re] doesn't happen but we don't want the government to think they can get whatever they want."
