Insurance companies under the rogue PI spotlight

Three insurance companies are to be investigated for illegal activity involving private investigators, the Information Commissioner’s Office has confirmed.

The allegations related to the period 2001-2009

According to a report on the BBC, the Information Commissioner - Christopher Graham - has written to Keith Vaz MP about those suspected of being involved with getting information illegally and confirmed that nineteen clients of rogue private eyes are to be investigated.

However, Graham, who has previously asked MPs not to name names, continued to ask for matters to be kept under wraps.

The BBC stated that Graham wrote in his letter to Vaz, who

Brokers upbeat on 2024 growth – Aviva
