UK Broker Awards 2013: Homer’s achievements celebrated

Five hundred attendees at Insurance Age’s UK Broker Awards celebrated the achievements of Andy Homer, as he received his award for promoting the general insurance broking industry throughout his career.

Homer, currently chairman of the British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba), has forged a reputation as a fierce proponent of professionalism and industry standards, not least as president of the Chartered Insurance Institute for the 2002-3 term.

In an afternoon of networking and celebration at The Brewery in London, brokers also saw Lark Group crowned the winner as Insurance Broker of the Year.
