Gallagher Heath lands Brightside double

Gallagher Heath Insurance Services (GHIS) has raided Brightside Group for two new recruits in a move designed to "drive forward" its expansion plans within UK schemes and affinities.

The broker said it had set its sights on doubling the division's revenue to $100m (£66m) by 2015, while recording a minimum profit margin of 20%. 

Alan Sanderson has joined from Brightside as corporate partnerships director. In his new role, the broker said he would be "responsible for development and profitable growth".

And Peter Cooper - who also joins from Brightside - has been signed up as operations director.
