Covea names former Hiscox boss as schemes manager

Covea Insurance has unveiled former Hiscox boss Bill Guiney as schemes account manager.

Mr Guiney - who joined Hiscox in May 2010 as regional manager of Manchester - will continue to be based in the North West and is expected to work closely with the trading teams in Manchester and Newcastle. 

Covea schemes manager, Chris Withers highlighted Mr Guiney's "considerable industry experience".

He explained: "Growing our commercial lines business is a key part of our overall strategy and investing in our regional presence is a big part of how we will drive that growth.

"We delivered good
