UK Broker Awards celebrate Galbraith's achievements

The UK Broker Awards 2012 were wrapped up in fitting style with the British Insurance Brokers' Association chief executive Eric Galbraith scooping the Achievement Award.

The ceremony - which celebrated the best the industry has to offer - also saw Bartlett & Company claim the Intermediary of the Year gong.

Comedian and actor Hugh Dennis, best known for his role on current affairs panel show Mock the Week, hosted the event.

Other winners included Cowens Survival Capability, grabbing the Chartered Broker of the Year honour, Beaumonts Private Clients winning the Private Clients Intermediary of the Year and Hastings Direct scooping two awards for Personal Lines
