RSA motor claims chief leaves post after 18-year stint

Ian Thompson has stepped down from his role as personal motor claims director at RSA.

Mr Thompson joined the insurer in 1994, and has held a number of roles within the company since, including head of motor operations.

Ian Currie, formerly technical claims director, will be taking over Mr Thompson’s role in his new position as motor and injury claims director.

David Pitt, claims director, UK and Western Europe at RSA, said: "After working for RSA for almost 19 years, Ian is taking the opportunity to pursue career opportunities outside of the group.

Biba 2024: FCA to take its time on transparency proposals
