Momentum targets 25 new brokers in 2012

Momentum has confirmed it signed up 23 appointed representatives (AR) in its first full year of trading and has targeted another 25 broking businesses in 2012.

The company achieved Financial Services Authority (FSA) authorisation in November 2010 and began transacting business the following month. The AR network, which has partnered with Acturis, also signed up to the Chartered Insurance Institute's Aldermanbury declaration in May 2011.

Howard Pepper, managing director of Momentum, commented: "We started the year with virtually no business and it has been tremendously satisfying to see the targets we set our selves exceeded and a number of milestones
