Chase Templeton acquires PMI specialist

Chase Templeton Group has acquired Healthcare Quotations (HQL), the Oxford and Gloucester based private medical insurance (PMI) specialists, for an undisclosed sum.

Kevin Amphlett, CEO of Chase Templeton, said: “The profile of HQL’s business represented a prospect too good for us to miss, adding a further £8m of annual premium to our PMI portfolio across both SME and individual PMI sectors – our stated ‘sweetspot’ for growth.

“Of particular interest to us was a number of affinity schemes held by HQL, an area that Chase are eager to develop.”
