Casualty underwriter joins the expanding Manchester team

Following the recent recruitment of six new underwriters to its Manchester operation, QBE has further expanded the team with the appointment of Jon Hesketh to the position of casualty underwriter.

Previously at AIG, Mr Hesketh is a casualty specialist with  experience in conventional and non-conventional business placements dealing with both national and independent brokers.

Reporting to Antony Broome, commercial manager of the Manchester office, Mr Hesketh joins the team as QBE pledged to

ABI records 3% home premiums rise in Q1

Average home insurance premiums for buildings and contents cover rose by 3% to £375 in the first quarter of this year, pushing the year-on-year rise up to 19%, according to the Association of British Insurers.
