Towergate and Folgate have merged to create a "multi-faceted" insurance intermediary group.
It is expected that the timetable for the integration of both companies to create the Towergate Partnership will be completed by the end of March - subject to regulatory approval. Immediate plans are underway to bring together operational control and further announcements will be made shortly regarding senior appointments.
