Lycetts reports record revenue for 2022

Lycetts grew revenue by nearly 9% in 2022 to £25.6m, as pre-tax profit rose 12% year-on-year to £3m.

In a filing at Companies House, the broker detailed that the rise in pre-tax profit, from £2.68m in 2021, was despite the impact of Storm Arwen and sustained property investments, including new offices in Godalming, Surrey, and completing its headquarters in Newcastle.

The success at the Benefact-owned firm was underpinned by more than 11% new business growth, as well as retaining and cross-selling to clients.

During the year, Lycetts bought GD Anderson in Northampton. The deal, in April 2022
