Lloyd’s commits to One Lime Street – report
Lloyd’s of London is set to stay in the iconic Lime Street building designed by Sir Richard Rogers until at least 2031.
A report in the Financial Times stated that people familiar with the matter confirmed the marketplace would stay in the famous building and not seek to use a break clause and find new premises in 2026.
The report went on to say that Lloyd’s was intending to stay in the building past 2031 following discussions with the site’s owner, Ping An. It is thought the underwriting room may be modernised to reflect more modern working practices.
According to the report, the move is a vote of confidence
