Personal lines brokers are expected to build trusted relationships at a time when margins, especially in personal lines are squeezed and time is tight. But are these relationships becoming too transactional?
So far I have enjoyed writing and learning about the insurance sector and the characters that populate it.
The people I speak to daily want to do a good job and it is clear the customer commitment is there from the top.
But building trust takes a relationship and in insurance, when you’re selling a grudge purchase and sometimes only speak with clients rarely, it can be an uphill struggle.
