Hunterhousen: We are looking to scan all documents into our system - proposal forms, bonuses, and so on. Does anyone else do this and what do you do with the original documents? Do you still keep them or can they be destroyed? Any advice on this would be helpful.
James Sharp: I'd say scan 'em and shred 'em; having first linked them to the client/policy on your fully capable broking system and verified they are there... and backed up. Of course, I am not about to admit that this is what we do
