This time, in addition to questions about trading conditions, intermediaries have been asked for their views on some hot topics, including the phenomenon of price comparison sites and the industry's performance following last year's floods.

Welcome to October's Professional Broking Sentiment Survey - the industry barometer tracking the issues facing brokers. Respondents have shown concern about service levels and insurer-owned distribution but are increasingly au fait with the regulatory regime.

Welcome to the latest Professional Broking Sentiment Survey - the industry barometer tracking the issues facing brokers. Concerns over regulation still remain, especially the thorny issue of commission disclosure. And with the majority feeling that 2007 will not offer any decent prospects for rate hardening, more and more brokers are set to move to fee-based remuneration, even in the small to medium-sized enterprise sector.

Welcome to the eleventh Professional Broking Sentiment Survey - the industry barometer tracking the issues facing brokers. In addition to our regular round-up of regulation, service and the market cycle issues, views on insurers buying brokers were mixed, with 40% prepared to sell to an insurer, but the majority criticised the approach, saying brokers will not remain independently managed under such arrangements.
