Product roundup: Motor market focuses on fleet
The UK motor fleet market enjoyed a bit of attention last month, with two market developments. Equity Red Star kicked things off, releasing SME Protect, its new mini-fleet product.
The product will cover fleets of two to 10 cars and commercial vehicles, and according to the insurer, has been long-awaited by the market.
Also jumping in to fleet is HDI-Gerling, which has brought in an ex-Equity man to help with its forthcoming venture into the UK market. LFC Insurance Group has paired up with Axa to launch a new professional indemnity facility, a move it says will generate new revenue streams for the group and bring stability to the “current volatile market”.
