Conservative peer Lord Sheikh’s new broker and underwriting agent Macmillan Sheikh has launched its first scheme for the security industry.

The firm will administer the scheme under a delegated authority binder agreement which has been developed with specialty insurer Inter Hannover.

According to the broker, it will provide insurance for a variety of firms including security, alarm and fire protection companies on a bespoke basis.

Lord Sheikh said: “This is a sector with very particular
needs and challenges which therefore benefits greatly from a bespoke, specialist insurance approach.”
