Products & schemes: Feedback prompts PPU

Aircraft wing

Staysure.co.uk, a provider of travel insurance for over 50s, has unveiled a unique Passenger Protection Upgrade (PPU) package that offers £25,000 travel legal dispute cover, £3,000 end supplier failure cover and double the missed departure benefits.

Stewart Rioch, general manager of Staysure, said: "The PPU comes closer than any other product on the market to offering 'enjoyment protection' for holiday-makers. We are proud to be the first intermediary to offer this."

Staysure said customer comment had been instrumental in creating the new upgrade and that its underwriting panel was keen to see the consumers' response.
